My work has exploded with projects, which is great because I run my own company. Around Christmas it really wrecked havoc with my weight loss goals and clean eating. We were eating out all the time and the holidays just make it hard to focus on goals.
Anyways, this month I told myself I am going to go all of March without eating out once, and my first week is complete. 1 week without eating out doesn’t sound like much, but pretty much everyday is a struggle. We work downtown, so we’re always wondering where to go out to take a break!
I’ve been working out and slowly (VERY SLOWLY) getting back into jogging. Taking it at 30 second intervals. If there’s any sign of pain in my feet I am going to back off and go back to the foot doc, but I’m hopeful! 2 months ago I had trouble just walking because the pain was that bad.
Things are good and I just have to keep my eye on the prize.
My father had taught me to be nice first, because you can always be mean later, but once you’ve been mean to someone, they won’t believe the nice anymore. So be nice, be nice, until it’s time to stop being nice, then destroy them.
